Atlantic Plastics, also known as Atplas, is a UK-based company specialising in the design, manufacture, and supply of water fittings and valves. Their products are primarily used for residential water connections, delivering potable water from the main supply to homes. They are part of the AVK Group, a global leader in high-quality valves and hydrants for water, wastewater, gas, and fire protection.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimising manufacturing processes to produce products efficiently and effectively within the factory.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Designing new production lines, improving existing lines and implementing new technology.

Taking ownership of new projects and liaising with internal stakeholders throughout the process.

Being a key player in decisions made to improve the efficiency of processes to be rolled out in real-time.

Providing day to day support for the Engineering Manager at Atlantic Plastics.

ABOUT YOU:

You will be on track to be awarded a degree within Manufacturing/Engineering or a degree with relevant manufacturing modules.

A willingness to learn new skills and be hard working.

The ability to identify issues that could arise within a process.

Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.

Ability to communicate effectively with shop floor operatives, engineers and management.

Competent in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
