Job summary

TPF Recruitment partners with a Canterbury-based professional services firm seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join the Growth team. You will support the inorganic growth strategy, identifying acquisition targets and assisting across the deal lifecycle from research to post-deal integration.

Graduates with strong analytical ability and Excel skills are encouraged to apply; experience in corporate finance, transaction services or financial analysis is beneficial.

• Analytical, commercially minded and highly organised with interest in M&A.

• Experience in corporate finance, transaction services or related roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify acquisition targets through market mapping and profiling.
• Maintain acquisition trackers and report deal progress to senior leadership.
• Support due diligence across commercial, financial and operational workstreams.
• Prepare investment papers and internal approvals for board materials.
• Assist with financial analysis, benchmarking and valuation activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers throughout transactions.
• Contribute to post-acquisition integration planning and tracking.
• Produce pipeline reports and monitor market trends.
