Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive Coventry secondary school. This full-time role offers exposure to SEN support and a practical pathway into teaching.

As a Graduate LSA, you will work with teachers and the SENCO providing 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their social and academic skills.

Are you a recent graduate who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain valuable experience in a school environment?

Perhaps you're considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology or Special Educational Needs (SEN) and want to develop your practical experience before taking the next step.

We are looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive secondary school in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with students, develop your understanding of SEN and gain the classroom experience needed to progress within education.

What does the role involve?

As a Graduate LSA, you'll work alongside teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted support to students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and dyslexia.

You'll help students overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and engage positively with both their academic and social development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group supportto students with SEN
  • Supporting teachers with differentiated learning activities
  • Helping students remain focused, engaged and motivated in lessons

  • Experienced in working with children or young people (desirable, but not essential)

You don't need extensive classroom experience - we're looking for someone with the right attitude, empathy and enthusiasm who is keen to learn.
