Job description

Role: Graduate Learning Mentor

Job Type: Long Term Contract

Pay: £95.00 - £110.00 per day (Equivalent salary of £18,525 - £21,450)

Hours: 32,5 - 35 Hours Per Week

Monday to Friday

The Role:

Veritas Education are on the look out for graduates completing their degree's who are ready to get their foot in the door to an education-based role! Degrees from childcare, coaching, psychology, education and many more, have great transferable skills and knowledge for learning mentor roles within schools.

What Roles are on offer?

  • Special Needs Learning Mentor - supporting children with a range of learning, communication and behavioural needs.
  • Mainstream Learning Mentor - supporting mainstream primary and secondary age students with their academic achievements, core subject curriculum and social development.
  • 1:1 Learning Mentor - Working with one specific learner helping them access all aspects of their timetable, education and following their education plans.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • Previous experience in schools or experience working with children/young people
  • Relevant degree or qualifications related to education or child-care
  • Confident, committed and passionate about supporting a range of children with varying needs and abilities
