Role – Graduate Landscape Architect
Location – Derbyshire
Salary – £24 - £27K
Lead Careers are working with landscape architect studios across the UK who are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable landscape solutions across a range of sectors. Projects span public parks, urban spaces, residential developments, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Landscape Architects to work alongside experienced landscape architects and contribute to the design and delivery of a variety of projects. These roles offer excellent opportunities to develop your skills, work on exciting projects, and progress your career in landscape architecture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the design and development of landscape architecture projects, from concept to completion
  • Produce high-quality visualisations, technical drawings, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and environmental assessments to inform project development
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and design documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and ecologists, to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and best practices
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong design, drafting, and visualisation skills
  • Good understanding of landscape and environmental planning policies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively
  • A passion for sustainable design and environmental stewardship
