Job description

Role - Graduate Landscape Architect
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £28 – £30K
We are looking for a Graduate Landscape Architect to join a well-established and multidisciplinary team, with a particular focus on landscape planning and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA). The successful candidate will support a range of development and infrastructure projects, contributing to assessments, planning submissions, and the promotion of high-quality landscape outcomes.
This role is ideally suited to a graduate with a strong interest in planning/LVIA´s
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to the production of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
  • Support the preparation of Environmental Statement chapters and planning application documents
  • Undertake site visits and assist in baseline data collection and analysis
  • Assist in the production of high-quality plans, photomontages, and visualisations to accompany reports
  • Collaborate with colleagues across planning, ecology, heritage, and engineering disciplines
  • Engage with landscape character assessment and national/local planning policy
  • Support consultation and stakeholder engagement activities as required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or similar
  • An interest in landscape planning, LVIA, and EIA-related work
  • Awareness landscape character assessment methods, and UK planning context
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS (e.g., QGIS or ArcGIS)
  • Ability to produce clear and visually engaging graphics
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work both independently and within a team
