The Opportunity

White Label Recruitment is looking for a Graduate Test & Development Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer with a wide product range and a reputation for high-quality engineering. This is an ideal role for someone with an engineering or scientific background who enjoys hands-on testing work and has the attention to detail needed for writing clear, accurate documentation and technical reports.

You will be working alongside an experienced Test & Development Engineer, supporting product testing activities both in-house and at external proving grounds. The role offers great exposure to different parts of the business, working closely with Design, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the planning and execution of component and product testing
2. Ensure safe and accurate fixture of parts for testing
3. Capture and document test results with precision
4. Write clear technical reports based on testing outcomes
5. Support proving ground testing (including occasional overnight stays)
6. Communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments
7. Maintain accurate records and follow robust testing processes

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Full UK Driving Licence with no penalty points
• Physically fit and willing to undertake proving ground work (includes medical & technical assessments)
