A well-established Building & Civil Main Contractor seeks a Graduate/Junior Engineer for a Residential Project in Meath. The successful candidate will support project activities by liaising with teams on-site and ensuring quality control of works completed according to specifications. Ideal for an ambitious individual eager to progress in engineering.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year's placement experience in an engineering role.
• Strong competence in setting out and surveying tasks.

Salary – €30K +

About the Company

Working along a leading Building & Civil Main Contractor with 50+ years’ experience working across Ireland and the UK. They are keen to work with a Candidate that is eager to lean and progress in their career.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager & Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 place years’ placement experience in an engineering role.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
