Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must have a clean UK Driving License.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Graduate / Junior Control Systems Technician, working with highly skilled engineers to support your career development.


As a Graduate / Junior Control Systems Technician, you will be involved in the full lifecycle delivery of control system projects. This role will include software design, implementation, testing, and on-site commissioning where necessary.


The successful candidate will receive training and mentoring, gaining experience and knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation.


Full-time position: 08:30 - 17:15 (Monday to Thursday) and 08:30 - 16:00 on Fridays.


Graduate Day to be held on Thursday 10th July 2025.


What you will learn:

  • Assisting with the creation of detailed functional design specifications
  • Configuration of system architecture and network connections
  • Production, modification, testing, and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software
  • UK site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)
What we require from you:

  • Preferably completed an apprenticeship (Level 4 Controls & Automation) or degree in an engineering-related discipline, or A-Levels or HND in Computing (IT), Physics, Electronics, or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious with a genuine interest in advancing your career in automation
  • Clean UK Driving License
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
