Graduate Business Development Exec
London
£25,000 - £32,000 Basic Plus £35,000 - £42,000 OTE

Product / Service: The UK's leading guide to find and book restaurants, bars, venues and events.

Your Skills: Self-motivated, confident, commercial and results driven with excellent communication skills and an interest in developing good sales skills. Retail or Hospitality experience. Customer focused.

Skills Level: Junior / Graduate 0-2 years experience. Ideally 1-2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing new client prospects and their decision makers
  2. Selling digital marketing services to restaurants, pubs, bars, 4 and 5 Star hotels and other venues such as museums, football clubs etc.
  3. Presenting and selling digital marketing solutions within the main channels – Restaurants/Bars, Private and Group Dining, Events and Parties, Weddings and Christmas
  4. Presenting and selling our new Reward scheme using the latest FinTech cardlinking technology approved by Visa, Mastercard and Amex
  5. Educating clients to understand the features and benefits of the product
  6. Nurturing existing customers and driving upselling initiatives
  7. Creating proposals based on client requirements and data insights

About You:

Required:

  1. Self-motivated, confident, commercial and results driven
  2. Good written and oral communication skills
  3. Good organisational skills and time management
  4. Confidence to communicate and present at all levels
  5. Highly coachable and eager to learn and grow in your career
  6. Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions

Desirable:

  1. Interest in developing good sales skills
  2. Knowledge of selling to restaurants
  3. A basic knowledge of the restaurant/bar/pub and event venues industry
  4. 1 – 2 years of sales experience
  5. Excellent negotiation skills
  6. Excellent customer service skills
  7. A proactive approach to sourcing leads
  8. Experience in a CRM system

Training You Will Receive:

  1. How to present, sell and the psychology of selling
  2. How to negotiate and close deals
  3. SEO and digital marketing
  4. Background knowledge of the hospitality industry
  5. CRM systems and account management
  6. Content management systems
