Job Title: Graduate IT Technician

Location: Telford

Pay Range/details: Competitive salary + benefits package

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client is seeking a Graduate IT Technician to join their team in Telford. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Innovation, the Graduate IT Technician will implement, operate, and maintain the organisation s computer systems and networks, ensuring users have efficient and secure IT functionality to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities - Graduate IT Technician

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support, resolving user issues with computers and network devices.
  • Maintain robust cybersecurity strategies to secure client and server systems.
  • Ensure an effective business continuity and disaster recovery plan is in place.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of IT systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, repairing or replacing components as needed.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and test new hardware/software before full implementation.
  • Support the planning and rollout of new technologies and applications.

Qualifications & Requirements - Graduate IT Technician

  • Minimum HNC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Azure Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Microsoft 365 Administration/Developer certification preferred but not essential.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
