What will I be learning?
On this programme, you’ll experience working inFinanceat a GlobalInvestment Bank. Over the first 3-4 weeks with us, you’ll complete our award-winning Simul8 academy to learn and develop in a supportive environment the skills and knowledge you’ll need to successfully perform the role of a Financial Controller. After, you will move to the client site, helping to deliverwithin the team.
What work will I be doing?
As a Financial Controller, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders while delivering high-quality, consistent financial, statutory, and management reporting. You’ll ensure compliance with relevant policies and regularly assess and escalate any concerns regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s internal controls.
In addition, you will be responsible for performing reconciliations, accounting tasks, management information (MI) reporting, and control activities. These duties support the month-end close process, account reconciliation and substantiation, and the preparation of statutory and external reports—ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
