Are you a recent Psychology or Criminology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable young and at-risk young people?

A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of SEMH needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Graduate Pastoral Assistant who will be a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge!

The ideal Graduate Intervention and Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Education, or Counselling would also be ideal for this position.

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £80-100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Training: Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students
Requirements: You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship. Must be able to travel to Guildford and surrounding areas.
