Job summary

Nower Hill High School is seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Support Assistant to work with students both in the mainstream classroom and in 1:1 sessions. You will also lead small group sessions in Maths and English and support learners with a wide range of special educational needs, including emotional, social and mental health needs.

A degree qualification or equivalent is essential. A caring, flexible approach and commitment to language learners are valued.

Job description

The successful candidate will support students both in the mainstream classroom and also in a 1:1 capacity. The candidate will also be expected to lead small group sessions within the core subject areas of Maths and English. An interest in working with students with a wide range of special educational needs including emotional, social and mental health needs is essential, together with an interest in supporting second language learners.
