At RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defence company, 185,000 great minds are united by purpose and inspired to make a difference solving the world’s most complex problems.

With our three market leading businesses, world-class operations and investments in research and development, we offer capabilities and opportunity no one else can. Together, we push the boundaries of known science and find new ways to connect and protect our world.

Raytheon brings the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. We deliver solutions that help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression, creating a safer, more secure world.

Raytheon UK is seeking a Graduate Integrated Product Support (IPS) Engineer to join the IPS and Training Team at our Malvern site with a November/December 2026 start.

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your engineering career in a role that combines technology, problem-solving, communication and customer engagement. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, develop an understanding of complex systems and gain practical experience supporting technology throughout its lifecycle. From creating technical documentation to delivering customer training, you’ll help ensure our systems are understood, supported and ready for use in demanding operational environments.

What You Will Do:

Supported by an experienced team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience and contribute to a range of activities that help our customers get the most from our technology to include:

  • Creating technical documentation: Assisting in developing clear, accurate technical manuals and supporting information in a range of formats.
  • Working across engineering teams: Collaborating with systems engineers, software engineers, programme management and other specialist teams to understand our products and support their delivery.
  • Supporting customer training: Helping develop and deliver engaging training using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as supporting practical, on‑the‑job training.
  • Contributing to product support: Assisting in producing Integrated Product Support and supportability documentation, applying the knowledge and skills gained through structured training and hands‑on experience.
  • Building customer relationships: Working with colleagues and customers to understand their needs and help ensure our systems are supported effectively throughout their lifecycle.

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. There will be opportunities to learn, ask questions and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence and technical knowledge grow.

What you will learn:

This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop both your technical expertise and professional skills in a specialist engineering environment. You’ll receive training on our core product, the SCi-Toolset, and the hardware infrastructure that supports it. You’ll discover how complex, secure, multi‑server systems are designed, configured, tested, deployed and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

As you develop there will be opportunities to travel to domestic and international customers helping you understand how our technology is used in real‑world operational settings and what it takes to keep it working effectively.

Along the way, you’ll develop skills in technical writing, systems support, training delivery and stakeholder management. Working closely with engineers and customers will help you build confidence in explaining technical information, solving problems and communicating with different audiences.

Most importantly, you’ll develop a broad understanding of how engineering, technology and customer support come together to deliver reliable solutions. This experience will provide a strong foundation for a long‑term career in Integrated Product Support, systems engineering, technical training or related engineering disciplines.

Qualifications and Skills You Must have:
  • A degree in a relevant engineering or IT discipline, such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems.
  • A genuine interest in technology, engineering and understanding how complex systems work.
  • A proactive and inquisitive approach, with a willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across the business and with customers.
  • The confidence and willingness to develop the skills needed to deliver technical training and explain information to different audiences.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain the relevant UK Security Check (SC) clearance required for the role.
Qualifications and Skills We Would Prefer:

We know that graduates are at the start of their careers, so you don’t need to have experience in every area. We’d particularly welcome candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Relevant work experience, such as an industrial placement, internship or other practical experience.
  • An interest in technical documentation, technical writing or creating clear and engaging training materials.
  • An interest in computer systems, software, hardware infrastructure or supporting complex technical products.
  • Experience or an interest in customer‑facing technical roles, troubleshooting or providing remote technical support.
  • A willingness to develop new skills, work with different teams and build an understanding of how technology is supported throughout its lifecycle.
What we Offer:

We offer a benefits package which includes a competitive salary as well as 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. There is an Employee Assistance Program, option to buy and sell holidays, employee discounts, a fantastic pension scheme, discounted gym membership and much, much more.

Why Join Us?

Starting your career at Raytheon UK means more than securing your first graduate role. It’s an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, gain practical engineering experience and contribute to technology that supports important national security and defence missions.

We provide exceptional career opportunities to exceptional individuals. This is a role with variety, visibility and purpose. One week, you could be working with colleagues at our Malvern facility, developing your understanding of the SCi-Toolset and its supporting infrastructure. The next, you could be helping to deliver training at a customer site, putting your communication skills into practice and seeing first‑hand how our technology is used.

You’ll join an established, collaborative team working at the forefront of system support and training, where technical quality, reliability and customer trust are essential. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from specialists, contribute your ideas and progressively take on greater responsibility as you develop.

We’re committed to helping our people build rewarding careers. As your experience grows, you’ll have opportunities to deepen your technical expertise, broaden your understanding of our products and explore future career paths within Integrated Product Support and the wider engineering organisation.
