No prior insurance experience is required; a strong mathematical and analytical mindset is essential, with an interest in the insurance industry and the ability to learn new tools including AI.

Qualifications

• PhD in a highly quantitative discipline is required or exceptional Master’s candidates may be considered.
• Some programming experience gained through a degree, personal projects, or similar experience.
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders, apply structured reasoning, and learn new tools and technologies, including AI.

Responsibilities

• Support development of technology and analytics capabilities across complex reinsurance structures and concepts.
• Contribute to building a technology platform for the reinsurance and ILS market, bringing underwriting, pricing, actuarial modelling and portfolio analysis together.
