Key Responsibilities

Coyle Personnel has established strong relationships with secondary schools in and around Essex, supplying short-term staff to cover lessons and vacancies. Our reputation in the education industry is excellent, and it is our employees' responsibility to uphold high standards when supervising classrooms or working within school environments.

As a Cover Supervisor for Coyle Education, your responsibilities will include:

• Distributing pre-set work to students according to lesson plans
• Setting clear expectations and facilitating quiet discussions
• Managing student behavior throughout lessons
• Responding positively to student questions
• Remaining calm and responsible in emergencies
• Reporting any issues to the school
• Collecting completed work at the end of lessons
• Leading by example and acting as a role model

Requirements

Besides having the right to work in the UK and being over 18, there are no strict requirements. GCSE qualifications in Maths and English are desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

Our schools typically operate from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. You'll enjoy time off during school holidays and receive holiday pay over Christmas, Easter, and summer breaks.

Flexibility

With us, you control your shifts, allowing you to organize your week according to your needs. You can work full-time or part-time. The school year comprises 195 days, with salaries ranging from £18,000 to £26,000 pro-rata in the UK.
