Description

My client based in Hull are looking for a Graduate Insolvency Trainee to join their reputable business. Your main duties will be to carry out insolvency tasks whilst assisting senior staff leading to responsibility for a small and varied case-load.

You will develop your insolvency and accountancy knowledge through both on-the-job experience and study. A full training package, leading to professional insolvency qualifications will be provided.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • You will be responsible to a designated senior team member and ultimately to the team Manager Conducting initial company searches
  • Processing VAT returns
  • Updating creditor and shareholder details
  • Processing company information on the case administration system
  • Generating standard letters using checklists
  • Preparing inventories on books and records
  • Assisting other members of the team with ad hoc case related duties

What are we looking for?

  • Strong A-Levels and a degree in Accountancy and Finance, Business, Maths or Economics (min 2:1)
  • A high level of analytical and numerical problem solving skills.
