Description

Would you like to be part of an established and expanding financial services organisation based in Greater Manchester who due to expansion are looking to speak to academic graduates who are looking for a career in insolvency?

They are currently looking for several Graduate Insolvency Trainees to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified insolvency practitioner/accountant as they provide full study support.

The principal duty will be to carry out insolvency tasks whilst assisting senior staff leading to responsibility for a small and varied caseload. The specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Generating standard letters and documents and ensuring checklists completed.
  • Updating the case diary system to ensure statutory deadlines are adhered to.
  • Inputting initial information on the system following the setup of a new case.
  • Working with more senior administrators to prepare complex reports & financial information to stakeholders.
  • Liaising with stakeholders (creditors, debtors, bank, directors etc.) on general case issues.
  • Liaising with appointed agents/solicitors/accountants to progress cases.
  • Assisting senior staff on site where necessary (collating information, assisting employees etc.)
  • Developing your own case load over time

In addition, full study support for insolvency qualifications such as CPI/JIEB and ACCA (Accounting) will be provided together with ongoing training and development courses.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Accountancy and Finance, Maths or Economics (min 2:1) or an alternative numeric degree
  • A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
