A leading company in property consultancy is seeking a Graduate Infrastructure Surveyor to join their team in Bristol. This role offers the chance to develop skills in the telecoms sector, focusing on strategic advice and gaining professional qualifications. With structured training and support for APC, this position is ideal for graduates interested in a career in infrastructure and real estate management.
We are looking for a Graduate Infrastructure Surveyor with an interest or some experience in the telecoms sector, due to an increase in client base and instructions over the last 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to develop in the role and work towards your APC. The role focuses less on transactional matters and more on providing strategic and tactical advice, supporting litigation, and expert witness reports to both internal and external clients. Given Carter Jonas' scope in infrastructure and beyond, there are opportunities to broaden your experience across property consultancy.
As sector specialists in fixed, mobile, and broadcast telecoms property advice, we help clients understand complex issues and risks related to their property and land impacted by existing and proposed rights. Our clients range from private individuals to international property investment funds across all asset types and regions of the UK.
Our multi-disciplinary approach involves working with colleagues from our wider infrastructures team and other divisions within Carter Jonas to deliver leading advice and thought leadership to clients. Candidates should have experience in providing written and verbal advice, backed by a strong understanding of the market, case law, the Code, and landlord and tenant matters.
What will it take to be successful?
We welcome applications from students available to join in Autumn 2025, with a keen interest in the country's infrastructure and telecommunications. Suitable backgrounds include land management, environmental, infrastructure, planning & development, land administration, geography, and real estate. You will develop a broad understanding of the property/real estate lifecycle, from land registration and mapping to management, development, remediation, and reuse.
Ideally, candidates will have a RICS-accredited degree, but applications from those with non-accredited degrees and relevant qualifications are also welcome. Experience in real estate or civil engineering within rural, commercial, or energy sectors gained through work experience or placements is advantageous. A full driving license is essential as regular travel is required.
Our promise to you:
From day one, you'll receive structured training, an APC supervisor or counselor, and regular assessments to help you achieve your APC. We cover your APC registration fee and your first final assessment, plus offer up to five days of study leave.
Carter Jonas is committed to investing in its employees and providing the support needed to reach full potential. As a graduate, you will benefit from:
