Job summary

Maven Securities is seeking high-potential graduates for its London-based Graduate Infrastructure Engineer Programme. The role focuses on keeping Linux systems up to date, building resilient network infrastructures, and contributing to observability and automation within a fast-paced trading environment.

You will begin with structured training, covering multiple business areas, followed by placement on a specialised technical team to deepen domain expertise. London location.

Qualifications

• Final-year undergraduate or master's student in Networking, Network Security, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high-paced environment.
• Willingness to adopt and utilise emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Keep trading-critical Linux systems running at trading speed; manage RHEL/Ubuntu estates and tune for low-latency workloads.
• Operate and harden the network with Arista/Cisco/Juniper; manage routing and multicast feeds with latency analysis.
• Join on-call rotations and resolve incidents end-to-end during market hours.
• Build observability with Prometheus and Grafana; contribute to dashboards and logging.
• Attend regular check-ins with Infrastructure and Emerging Talent teams.
