Qualifications

  • Prior TA/LSA experience is helpful but graduates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Salary determined by qualifications and experience in line with policy.

  • Help students access learning and participate positively in school life.
  • Support development of emotional literacy, resilience, confidence and social skills.
  • Implement behaviour and inclusion strategies with SENCO and pastoral teams.
  • Build positive relationships with students and act as a supportive adult.
  • Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, parents and external professionals.

The Role - Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant, Ealing

As a Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching, SEN and pastoral staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Supporting students to access learning and participate positively in school life
  • Helping students develop emotional literacy, resilience, confidence and social skills
  • Implementing behaviour and inclusion strategies under the guidance of the SENCO and pastoral team
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students and acting as a consistent and supportive adult
  • Supporting students who may experience barriers to learning, attendance, engagement or behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, parents/carers and external professionals
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and confidentiality
What We Are Looking For - Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant

The school would welcome applications from graduates and candidates with experience in education, psychology, SEN, youth work, mentoring, counselling, behaviour support or pastoral care.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant, Mentor or Youth Worker would be advantageous, although graduates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
