Concurrent Technologies Plc in Colchester is seeking a Graduate PCB Design Engineer to join our PCB Design Team. You will develop high-speed PCB layouts for embedded computing products and work alongside experienced engineers across hardware, software and manufacturing to deliver robust designs.

You will learn SI/PI best practices, perform simulations with Ansys tools, and contribute to design reviews, documentation and continuous improvement of design processes in a safety-critical engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Understanding of electronic circuit fundamentals.
• Knowledge of PCB design principles and electronic components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and engineering tools.
• A methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain PCB layouts for advanced embedded computing products.
• Support the design and development of high-speed, multilayer PCBs.
• Learn and apply best practices for Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) design.
• Perform simulations and analysis using Ansys SI/PI tools.
• Work closely with Hardware Engineers to understand circuit requirements and design constraints.
• Participate in PCB design reviews and engineering discussions.
• Support design verification, prototyping and manufacturing activities.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PCB design processes and methodologies.
