Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Medical Sciences, Epidemiology or Health Economics.
• Some practical experience using R or another statistical programming language for data analysis, with knowledge of SQL desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data and quantitative information.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to develop new skills, with an interest in healthcare, real-world evidence and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse UK healthcare datasets, including HES, QOF data and national audits to identify trends and opportunities to improve patient pathways.
• Design and deliver real-world evidence studies, defining clinical and health economic outcomes and data collection.
• Use R to clean, analyse and interpret healthcare data.
• Create data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI and R Shiny, exploring AI-enabled tools for evidence generation.
• Generate data insights to support health economic analyses and NHS business cases.
• Collaborate with teams across Health Economics, Market Access and wider Access & Innovation.
