Job summary
JP Engineering is offering a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer/Engineering Geologist role in the North East of the United Kingdom. The position provides real site exposure across residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, waste and minerals projects, with experienced engineers and site teams to learn from.
You’ll assist with surveying, data processing and CAD drawings, while monitoring earthworks and collaborating with clients and contractors to build your technical
Qualifications
- Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Geo-Environmental Engineering or a related subject
- A valid UK driving licence
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Interest in developing a career within the geo-environmental and engineering sector
Responsibilities
- Assisting with site surveying and investigation activities
- Processing and interpreting site data
- Supporting the production of survey drawings using CAD
- Monitoring earthworks quantities and site progress
- Working closely with site teams, engineers, subcontractors and clients
- Developing your technical knowledge across a varied project portfolio
