A leading consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer. The role offers hands-on experience in managing projects related to contaminated land and geotechnical engineering. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and a passion for geology.
I am looking for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer located within the Birmingham area who has a passion for geology and contaminated land, eager to engage in a variety of complex Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering projects.
You will have the opportunity to work for an award-winning SME multidisciplinary consultancy, gaining hands-on experience on projects of varying scales.
As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be exposed to all aspects of onsite management and site supervision, technical reporting (including contaminated land, remediation, and geotechnics), client liaison, and project management, supported by a full team.
You will gain experience in delivering contaminated land and remediation projects, focusing on Phase 1 assessments, designing and managing Phase 2 site investigations, and producing technical reports such as factual, interpretive, remedial, risk assessments, and validations. You will also gain geotechnical site experience and reporting skills.
To qualify as a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you should live within a reasonable commute of Birmingham, have access to a vehicle, and meet the following requirements:
