Job Description:

I am working with a well-established environmental consultancy in Birmingham, looking to expand their team with recent and experienced graduates. There are 2 vacancies: one for a recent graduate and another for a Junior Consultant with 1-2 years of experience.

You will join a friendly, dynamic team working on diverse projects including rail, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will join a reputable specialist practice with excellent career progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing field and office-based projects to high standards
• Logging rock samples in accordance with BS5930:2015
• Factual reporting
• Preparing health and safety documentation
• Liaising with and reporting to senior staff
• Data processing
• Willingness to travel

Qualifications and experience needed:

• Relevant degree, e.g., Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering
• Relevant MSc, e.g., Geology (desirable)
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail
• Ability to travel to different sites
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
