Job summary

Radius is seeking a Graduate Full Stack Developer to contribute to our telematics platform. You will build using Python and ReactJS within our growing vehicle telematics unit, gaining exposure to global projects and real-world software delivery in a supportive environment.

Based at Arden Square, Crewe, you will join a modern, collaborative office with training on and off the job. Visa sponsorship is not available; you must have right to work in the UK to be considered.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in computer science, or equivalent subject.
• Familiar with Python frameworks (Django/DRF, FastAPI, Flask).
• Familiar with ReactJS or similar JS frameworks (Vue.js, Angular).
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Beneficial to know NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra, Mongo).

The role of Graduate Full Stack Developer is really important to us.

In this role you’ll get to build on your Python and ReactJS knowledge as part of the software development team in our successful and growing vehicle telematics business unit.

Your responsibilities day to day will be ...

• Coordination with internal teams and work as a team player
• Assess feature requests and develop technical solution
• Write effective, scalable, and testable code
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications
• Improve functionality of the existing systems
• Test and debug programs.
• Identifying and fixing production bugs

What do we expect of you?

• Recent degree in computer science, or equivalent subject.
• Familiar with at least one popular Python framework e.g. Django/DRF, FastAPI, Flask
• Familiar with ideally ReactJS framework or other JS based frameworks e.g. Vue.js, Angular etc
• Good problem-solving skills
• Passion for simplifying processes.
• Familiar with relational databases and their design e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.
• Beneficial to know about NoSQL databases e.g. DynamoDB, Cassandra, Mongo etc.
