Calnex Solutions in Linlithgow is offering a Graduate VHDL Design Engineer role within our hardware and software development teams, focused on FPGA-based feature development and system design. You will work under mentorship to deliver new product features, contribute to large FPGA architectures, and learn through hands-on experience in a fast-growing company with hybrid working.

Applicants should have a degree in Electronics or related field, knowledge of digital design and VHDL, and ideally

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in Electronics or an equivalent subject.
• Grasp of digital design techniques.
• Knowledge of VHDL design and simulation.
• Experience of scripting languages such as Python or Tcl would be beneficial.
• Ability to work closely with others in a multi-discipline team.
• Ability to respond to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilités

• Developing new FPGA based designs and/or modifying existing designs to support delivery of new product features as per specification.
• Contributing to the development and evolution of large complex FPGA architectures.
• Support quality-oriented activities necessary to deliver a product that will delight our customers.
• Learn the domain and hence appreciate the real-life use cases of the product features.
