Job summary

Aztrum is seeking a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer to join the Bedford team, with potential offices in Newcastle or Birmingham. You will work on flood risk assessments, flood defence surveys and asset surveys across the region.

The role includes site visits, detailed design of flood defence schemes, SuDS and drainage strategies, and training from an experienced team. A BSc/BEng in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a driving licence are required, with hybrid office-based work.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Driving licence required for site visits.
• Interest in flood risk, drainage and flood defence schemes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Flood Risk Assessments.
• Perform Property Flood Resilience Surveys and Asset Surveys.
• Asset Management of river structures and flood defence schemes.
• Site visits across the region.
• Detailed design of flood defence schemes, SuDS and coastal structures.
