Job summary

Ryanair invites applications for a SIM engineer based at East Midlands Airport. You will maintain Flight Training Devices and related hardware, perform readiness checks, and ensure minimal disruption to pilot training schedules.

Qualifications

• Background in aviation and flight simulation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Flight Training Devices to high EASA/industry standards.
• Perform daily readiness checks and ensure simulators are operable.
• Review and implement aircraft loadable software and vendor bulletins.
• Liaise with aircrew and inspectors to resolve defects and ensure safety.
• Run quality tests and document results per QTGs and standards.
• Design improvements to simulators to maintain fleet compatibility.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and company policies.
• Carry out additional duties to support daily simulator operations.
