LOCATION – Manchester

TERM – Permanent

SALARY - £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs and delivers fire services to commercial and domestic clients. They are looking for a Fire Engineer to join their team in the region of Manchester on a permanent basis.

The Fire Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

- NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar ideally in Mechanical Engineering

- Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial
- Ideally have some knowledge of computers, security systems and fire systems
- Be a hands-on, practical engineer
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Have a full UK driving licence

The Fire Engineer role will involve:

- Hands-on servicing, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems
- Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
- Working within a small team to deliver a quality service to customers
- Travelling to and from customer sites
- Occasional further travel in the UK e.g. to Scotland or Wales
