Chilly’s are on the look-out for a Graduate Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team.

Job Requirements

Must haves:

  • Completed a degree level or equivalent in a finance, business management or related subject.
  • Ability to learn and develop new skills quickly.
  • A desire to work in a fast paced scale up environment.
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately, good concentration and an eye for detail.
  • An ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good computer skills (especially with databases and financial software, good communication skills).
  • Team player and the ability to prioritise and work autonomously where required.

Job Responsibilities

What you will be working on:

  • Management of the daily bank reconciliations.
  • Daily posting of purchase ledger invoices & credits using Continia OCR software to the accounting system.
  • Daily posting of stock invoices and matching to purchase orders.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Coding purchase orders for authorisation.
  • Preparation of monthly BACs run.
  • Resolving purchase ledger account queries with suppliers.
  • Reconciliation of company credit cards.
  • Overseeing the administration and payments of staff expenses.
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits.
