Balfour Beatty in Newcastle is seeking a Finance graduate to join our 2027 Early Careers programme. You’ll gain hands-on experience, work across the Finance Operations function and support the Internal Reporting Team from day one.

As an assistant management accountant, you will handle month-end tasks, balance-sheet reconciliations and data analysis to ensure accurate reporting while developing technical and professional skills with mentorship and structured training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance with a minimum 2:1 honours by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end reporting, journals and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Perform data analysis to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Support the Internal Reporting Team and learn end-to-end finance processes.
