Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a rapidly-growing, PE-backed business in Chorley as they recruit for an ambitious Graduate to play a leading role assessing the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profitability. As such, this role is well suited a driven individual who wants to achieve long-term progression within a high-calibre team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements
  • Prepare M&A progress reports for vendors and investigate queries
  • Support the preparation of budgets for newly acquired businesses
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly board packs
  • Work closely with Management Accounts and Transactional Teams
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process for Group
  • Assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Support the delivery of other ad-hoc projects as required
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Actively pursuing ACA/ACCA (prefered) or CIMA/AAT
  • Ideally 1 or 2 years' experience within a finance/accounts role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
