This is a six month accelerator programme where you will be fast-tracked to becoming a full-time member of the itison sales and account management team.
What’s the role?
Your responsibilities will include:
Mastering all the itison services & products to be able to consult directly with Scotland’s hospitality leaders on shaping strategy for their businesses
Working closely with a designated, experienced team member to support their daily activities, assisting with administration and research tasks
Developing business relationships and securing new business features
Attending meetings, learning the art of negotiation best practice for using our systems
Learning the core fundamentals of sales including working to targets and deadlines
You will be paired with a Senior Account Manager who will coach & mentor your development over a six-month period, at which point you will ‘graduate’ to become an independent team member. Your initial focus will be on new business development, and then you will progress to account managing these businesses.
This is a challenging role with longer term leadership potential for the right person. You will be given the support you need to grow while challenging yourself and developing your own skills. You’ll also spend time in other departments across the company learning different skills and gaining insight into the overall business.

The recruitment process
If we progress your application, the first stage will be a short one-way video interview to find out a little more about your experience, then candidates who are shortlisted from this will be invited to an in-person interview at our Glasgow HQ.
If you progress to the final stage, you will be asked back for a second interview/graduate day with some in-office tasks designed to give you a flavour of the type of things you would be doing in the role.
We expect the full interview process to take around 4-8 weeks (for candidates who complete all three stages), with an estimated start date of w/c 21st April.
