Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting EYFS teachers in delivering engaging, play-based learning
  • Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and communication development
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to support progress
  • Helping to create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment
  • Encouraging independent learning through interactive technology and hands-on activities

  • Assisting with classroom routines, observations, and behaviour management
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through events and enrichment activities

Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • A genuine passion for working with children aged 3–5
  • Previous childcare or school experience is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, patient attitude
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or educational support
