Overview

We're looking for a Graduate Estimator to join our Construction team based in Nottingham. Location: Nottingham - with flexibility to travel/relocate across the region. Starting date: September 2026. Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k. Starting salary: £30,000 per annum, with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on our structured graduate development programme. What you will be responsible for

As a Graduate Estimator, you\'ll be working within the Construction team and will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects including materials, transport, labour, and equipment. This role is designed for a recent graduate eager to launch a career in construction management.

What will your day-to-day duties include

• Assisting in the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analysing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather essential information for estimates.
• Supporting the development of project budgets and cost control measures.
• Assisting in preparing bid proposals and tender documents.
• Conducting site visits to understand project scope and gather relevant data.
