Job description

Location: Head Office - Orsett, Essex with travel to sites UK wide required.
Contract: Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, when on site hours will be decided by the site with the occasional need to work nightshift and on weekends.
Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Working as a team player within the group SHEQT function, you will need to invest time and energy to develop into a future leader in your field.

This is an entry-level position but very much focused on developing the right candidate.

You will need the ability to review geotechnical reports and understand them, understand energy and carbon management and governmental reporting. You will also need the desire and interest to develop into carrying out environmental incident investigations.

It would be beneficial if you had an understanding of noise or dust monitoring and understood about raising consents or developing section 61 notices.

You will need to show a natural curiosity in the world around you and an intellectual inquisitiveness to help problem solve.

There will be an element of data entry in this role which will form the foundations of future development.

You will be expected to work nationally and will on occasion be expected to stay away from home for the odd night.

• Some idea of Construction Sites
• Basic Knowledge of what is EMS (Environmental Management System) and Sustainability and sustainable supply chain.
• Excellent IT Skills (MS Office, software, data management and data entry)
