A leading water utilities company is seeking a Graduate Environmental Advisor in Falmer. This role involves supporting risk management for engineering projects, conducting surveys, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science or related fields and ideally a year of relevant experience. Working as part of the Enabling Team within Engineering Technical Services (ETS), you'll support the delivery of clean water and wastewater projects from design through to construction. You'll help manage environmental risk, conduct field surveys, and identify opportunities to enhance both the natural and built environment.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline, along with strong written and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in a similar role or through a relevant placement. We're looking for someone who is curious, driven, and eager to learn - this is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development. This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our offices and home. We are offering a salary from £35k per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
