A water management company in Brighton seeks an Environmental Support Specialist to assist in delivering clean water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include managing environmental risks, conducting surveys, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Environmental Science, strong analytical skills, and at least one year of relevant experience. Working as part of the Enabling Team within Engineering Technical Services (ETS), you’ll support the delivery of clean water and wastewater projects from design through to construction. You'll help manage environmental risk, conduct field surveys, and identify opportunities to enhance both the natural and built environment.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline, along with strong written and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in a similar role or through a relevant placement. This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our offices and home. We are offering a salary from £35k per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
