Step Into Teaching Limited is seeking a Graduate English Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. You will support English lessons, deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to boost literacy, and help pupils with diverse needs, including SEND.

Qualifications

• Degree in English or related subject.
• Strong communication skills with students.
• Patient, proactive and supportive approach.
• Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support English lessons across the secondary school.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to improve literacy, reading, writing and comprehension.
• Support students with a range of abilities and additional needs, including SEND.
