Job summary

Coffey is recruiting a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join multidisciplinary teams on challenging infrastructure projects across the UK. You will blend field investigations with geological interpretation and engineering design, contributing to feasibility and risk assessments.

You will gain hands-on experience across roads, rail, buildings and land development, with training to develop technical and communication skills and exposure to overseas projects.

Qualifications

• A strong first degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering.
• Higher qualification in Engineering Geology or Ground Engineering is advantageous.
• Support towards professional chartership through the Geological Society of London, IoMMM or ICE.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to feasibility, assessment and design across engineering geology, geotechnical, hydrogeological and geo-environmental projects.
• Plan investigations, interpret geological and geotechnical information, and prepare technical reports.
• Engage with clients and support construction supervision, developing broad technical and commercial experience.
