Job description

We are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is keen to apply the skills they have learned to solve a variety of real engineering problems. There is an optional start date for this position is March 2026.

What you’ll do

You will be working alongside other engineers and designers as an integral part of the team at our Sheffield-based office, solving a wide variety of engineering problems. Typical tasks could include:

  1. Using engineering fundamentals to check that designs work;
  2. Carrying out detailed finite element analysis to optimise designs;
  3. Producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks to enable the design to be made.
What you’ll need

An ideal candidate would:

  1. Have enthusiasm for solving engineering problems, and the drive to learn and take ownership of your own development;
  2. Be able to apply the first-principles engineering that you have learned in your degree to new problems;
  3. Have the ability to work and communicate effectively with other people;
  4. By September 2025, have graduated from a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural or General Engineering or closely related (i.e. physical not electrical/control-based).
