Job summary

Centrica plc invites ambitious graduates to join its Engineering Graduate Programme in the UK. You will embark on three rotational placements across diverse engineering areas, supported by mentors and graduate learning, with relocation and travel as needed.

The programme runs for three years, offering exposure to nuclear, power generation, storage, hydrogen, heat networks and other energy solutions, plus a structured pathway to become a future engineering leader within Centrica.

With offices across the UK and a hybrid approach to working, flexibility is an important part of our graduate programmes. You’ll need to be open to travel when required and, for some placements, relocation, giving you the opportunity to experience different teams, locations, and parts of our business.

What we need from you:

• Expecting a First-Class Degree in a suitable engineering discipline, accredited by the relevant engineering institution (or a 2:1 with Master’s Degree) Degrees may include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Energy Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related engineering subject
• Curious, proactive, and keen to learn
• Willingness to travel and relocate between placements where required
• Right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence or working towards obtaining one by September 2027
• Available to start in September 2027
