Job summary

Laing O'Rourke's Advanced Rebar Manufacturing Facility (ARMF) seeks graduates to join a multi-location development programme across Dartford, London, Spain and Sizewell C. You will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, automation and project delivery within a dynamic environment.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will help develop manufacturing systems, support commissioning, and contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives while pursuing professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Degree course with a clear route to professional accreditation.
• Degree classification 2:2 or higher.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement.
• Assist with manufacturing system, equipment and technology implementation projects.
• Support operational readiness, commissioning and mobilisation activities across the facility.
• Contribute to production planning, performance monitoring and operational reporting.
• Assist with process mapping and development of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Support quality, safety and continuous improvement programmes.
• Participate in workshops, design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, logistics and quality functions.
• Produce technical reports, performance analysis and presentations to support operational decision-making.
