Job summary

Laing O'Rourke seeks a Graduate Engineer to join the Advanced Rebar Manufacturing Facility (ARMF). You will help develop, implement and improve manufacturing systems, equipment and digital technologies while rotating across UK sites.

You’ll gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned professionals, pursuing professional accreditation and building leadership skills for a future career in construction engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree course with a clear route to professional accreditation.
• Degree classification 2:2 or higher.
• Entry degrees listed per vacancy and role.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills; ability to travel if required.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Assist with equipment and technology implementation projects.
• Support readiness, commissioning and mobilisation activities.
• Contribute to planning, performance monitoring and reporting.
• Help develop SOPs and work instructions.
• Support quality, safety and continuous improvement programmes.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, logistics and quality teams.
• Produce technical reports and presentations for decisions.
