COWI is seeking a Graduate Engineer (Highways and Drainage) for a Summer Intake 2027 in Bristol. This permanent, office/home hybrid role offers mentoring and a structured development plan toward Chartership.

You will work on highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience from day one. You’ll contribute to design work, data collection and analyses, and the communication of complex concepts through reports and visuals, while growing in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Aiming for IEng or CEng registration.
• Understanding of Digital Automation and BIM.
• Experience in an engineering environment (e.g., year in industry or placements).

Responsabilités

• Produce designs for new infrastructure and assess existing assets.
• Translate engineering concepts into presentations, reports, sketches, and drawings.
• Collect data and perform analyses to support calculations.
• Promote engineering best practice and support in-house tools, including carbon calculation.
• Plan and manage workload with guidance from project manager and monitor progress.
