Job summary

The Highland Council in Golspie is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a team producing designs, assessments, reports, drawings and contract documents for Civil Engineering works. This permanent role is 35 hours per week with a salary ranging from £32,596 to £44,899 per annum, with progression to the top of the scale as experience grows.

Starting salaries reflect two entry points: Bachelor degree with Honours or a Masters in Civil Engineering, with accreditation by the Engineering Council.

• Starting salary 2 requires a Masters in Civil Engineering or accredited degree with Masters.

This Post can extend to the top of HC08 £44,899 following the attainment of experience and evidence of working at this level.

Salary placing within the appropriate grade will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose

To work within a team producing designs, assessments, reports, drawings and contract documents for Civil Engineering works and assisting with the supervision of Civil Engineering schemes.
