Job summary

First People Solutions is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Glasgow to lead civil infrastructure for building development projects, spanning concept, design, analysis and delivery.

You will manage multiple projects to deadlines, using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage within a collaborative consultancy team in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in a UK design engineering environment.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering infrastructure for building development projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Collaborate across design, analysis and delivery stages.
• Support and mentor junior team members as needed.

Senior Civil Engineer

First People Solutions is currently working with an award-winning consulting engineer in Glasgow who have years of experience delivering innovative engineering designs across a wide range of sectors.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on civil engineering infrastructure for building development projects, working across concept, design, analysis and delivery to help ensure projects are successfully delivered.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical and leadership skills, whether you’re an experienced Engineer ready to step up or a Senior Engineer looking for a sideways move - we want to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer status preferred but not essential
• 5+ experience working within a UK design engineering environment
• Experience designing civil works for a range of projects (drainage, earthworks, external works)
• Confident managing multiple projects to deadlines
• Proficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
